i cant say for sure, b/c my speedo dont work, but i raced my buddys del sol and he said we topped 120 and i was at 4000 rpms so i had some gear to go. oh and i have 373's

my speedo hits 85, i peg it straight down at the top of 3rd gear, and ive toped 4th out compleetly, and a good bit of 5th as well.... so if anyone knows what 5500rpms in 4th (1:1 gear) with 3.08s feel free to let me know, lol racing a buddy(same instance) he said he stoped lookin at 140(in a camaro btw) and i pulled past him(not too hard, but slightly faster)so ill say it was over 140, or right there.....

i dont have problems w. mine up around those speeds... but my front suspension isnt stock, and i tighten up the strange 10ways if i plan on doin that ****

i hit 140 with my 92 GT bone stock.. didnt have a single problem or n e thing.

*edit* o and sorry about my dumb *** room mate passenger. he was on the phone and recording with the digital camera so the quality isn't tremendous. but at least towards the end you can see the speedo goin past 140

get a firebird if you wanna go fast, i've been 180 in those things......crazy! but from 150 to 165 ish its sooooooooo shakey but then smooths out. anyone know why it does this? my 98 did this when i got to 100 but smoothed out at 115ish

i have a 93 5.0 and its auto. I have 4.10s and at 130 i was at 4500 rpms so it took a while but it got up there. It was makin a lot of wind noise but it handled fine but i want to top it out im sure i could hit 150 no prob

I lived in texas at the time and had just left the track. jumped on the freeway and thats where it happend. i dont know how to explain it but the freeway wasnt just solid road. it was pieced together with giant square slabs.(this isnt coming out rite) and where the slabs met up was a tiny void/bump and when i would hit it the rear end would come down and then fly up kinda sideways
