Cam ?

Me and my bro in law just took the cam out of his car 30min ago. The car thumped like it had a cam, so we was expecting it to have an e-303 or b-303. Took the cam out ant the only markings it had was in between the dist. gear and first lob was the letters EZ. To me this means it is a stock cam.Right???? What would make the car thump with a stock cam?

get some calipers and measure the lobes, should give you an idea of what you have
