Ford HD clutch keeps snapping my cable any brand cable preference???
Ford HD clutch keeps snapping my clutch cable i have tried several different ones from the parts store. Is there any aftermarket brands that yall have found to work good. thanks eric

Stock ford cable, or the MM cable which is a stock cable lengthened 10" or so I believe. Any adjustable crap cable will snap on you because they are smaller in diamter than a stock cable. Much thinner.

First make sure your cable is as far away from the header. I snapped 2 brand new cables and then i realized the cable was too clost to the exhaust. The cable would heat up too much and then snap.

i have UPR cable i think it is pretty thick and had it for over a year now and still looks new. I took it out to lube it the other day. I also have the spec stage 2, might want to consider that
