need a new electric fan??

i bought my car with an electric fan already on it. it worked fine untill now.. it sounds like the bearings are going out of it and it doesnt spin as freely. im not sure what modle fan it is, but i heard somewhere that i can use a taurus fan?? anyone know of this? or have any other cheaper ways to get a new fan?

I found a new one from a parts distributor for 125, taurus fan, with a one year warranty, or a junkyard special for 45.
