i need to drive my mustang right now its an 91 lx 5.0 and i am losing my gears i cant get it into reverse because it grinds and sometimes not 1st because its just to hard... what is it?

I think it's your tranny

sounds like your clutch is not engaging, have you tried to push the pedal all the wall down and then pull the pedal up with your hand to do the factory adjustment, or do you had an adjustable cable, your quadrant could be broken or the cable could be broke or out of adjustment.
