The transmission is in a 1995 mustang GT, the transmission is listed as a 1993 AOD.
Good God, why would you put a piece of crap AOD into a 95 GT when those had the stronger AODE in it? All you would have to do is slap an AODE back in and you could change both the shift points and the pressure through the computer.
I was about tosay the same thing. I though we were talking about an '86 or an '88. AODE FTW. Your computer is probably really confused and that is the problem.

I'm not saying that he would ahve to have it tuned professionally. What I'm actuallay saying is that I don't have an F'ing clue about how to precisely adjust teh shift points in the AOD. I'm also saying that if you have a 95 GT, you already have the capabilities of an electronic OD delete as well as electronically adjusting your shift points and shift firmness. You just have to put the stock tranny back in there (unlikely to happen though.)

LoL, sorry I couldn't help. I'm just an AODE guy.

Thanks for your time all of you guys! He is actually swapping from t5 to aod like I did with tko to C4. He got a good deal or something and I volunteered to let him use my garage for a -1 day- project lol, then i got sucked into it. Talking to Capri maybe I can tinker this out. I would of went aode if i was him but he is a few french fries short of a happy meal so. but again, thanks everyone.

It can seem a bit overwhelming at first, but if yo don't mind reading and if you like to learn, then it's really easy. Theres a GREAT forum and a good yahoo group dedicated to it. When you get the RT and start screwing around with it, let me know and I can try to help you with the basics.

I LOVE it though. Can't get over how quick and easy it is to make changes.
