Default stupid exhaust question

i'm looking at exhaust setups

no h pipe or header adjustments just yet

slp loudmouth is definitely the brand i want to go with

now why would i purchase this whole system(featured here)http://www.americanmuscle.com/slp-lo...-86-93-lx.html (costs a hell of a lot more btw)

over just the mufflers itself:http://www.americanmuscle.com/slp-lo...-mufflers.html

nothing needs to be replaced so why buy the entire kit?

Well the whole catback opens your piping more from 2.25 to 2.5 in. So you would see more of a gain..

If you wanna buy just the mufflers, you could have them welded in place of your current ones. If that's what you're getting at?

Do you have the stock cat back? If so, as already mentioned above, the larger pipes will allow it to breath a lil better.

Honestly, I don't know your budget, you could get a flow cat back for half the price. But to me, that's like comparing apples to oranges. It all depends on what you want.
