Default Fuel Filter replacement queston

Went to go change the fuel filter today but couldnt find where that damnned switch is, somy question is..Where is the switch located to depressurize the fuel line? I know its in the trunk but where.. sorry for the stupid question but looked today and couldn't find it. Probably was right in front of me.

car is a 91 GT

it should be on your fuel rail beside you intake manifold...mine looked like a tire valve

the switch in the trunk is the inertia switch, used to deactivate the fuel pump in the event of a crash. to depressureize the fuel system, you have to depress the valve on the fuel rail.

you can also do it by unplugging the inertia switch all together and then starting the car and running it out of gas

Can't find this valve on the rail...can anyone tell me around abouts spot? lol

and can't find the switch...guess I'm pretty stupid.

It is right by #1 spark plug on the feul line. Let the car set (without running) for a while the pressure will go down.

well the inertia switch is under the carpet i think on the drivers side but not positive. then i would just run it outta gas once it is unplugged
