1st u cant beat everything with a stock FOXbut think about it the 5.0 is like a light little 2900 pd car so u got that there and it depends a heck of a lot on the power u put out so u get of of it wat u put in

There is not way to give specs on the car you are looking at. If you want to use the car for racing than look for one someone has already mad alot of mods to and is selling for cheap. As you know "Speed cost, how fast do you want to go", so you can beat anything you have enough money to. If we tell you what you can beat, you will come across someone in that car who spent enough money to beat a 5.0 mustang. The driver also has alot to do with it so you will need to learn how to drive what you get. Good luck on your search.

The 5.0 foxbody Mustang is simply a FUN car. Easy to work on, and plenty of aftermarket choices to make. Put some lower gears in it to start off with, and you'll fall in love with the car! Good luck w/ your search. I'd personally go 89-92

maybe an LX is that light.... a gt is around 3300 but still for a v8 car thats not bad...
basically the 5.0 is a wonderful and easy car to work on.. im addicted to mine, everytime i get a paycheck i want to buy something for the car... hell even if its an airfreshener.
just make sure you get the right one, alot of people abuse the cars and hot rod them but there are some nice ones out there. i took the time to find mine, and thank god i did because i was going to buy a piece of crap for 3k but then after going to look at it after it rained and seeing how it leaked horribly inside i changed my mind and bam a few months later i came across mine in a garage that wasnt driven much.
