Im just asking becasue I was thinking about buying a pump, plans are h/c/i/sc though so I know I will need the 255 eventually, just was wondering.

there are no disadvanteages to running a 255 pump. If your worried about heat make sure you don't run to low on gas. The fuel will keep the pump cool enough.
