Default will this setup get 300-35 rwhp?

I figured that i would ask to see what some major things would get me this hp

1. 302 Blocked bored .40 over with stock style pistons.
2. Ported gt40 heads with 1.6 roller rocks
3. Gt40 upper and lower intake
4. 75mm throttle body with egr
5. 24# injectors
6. 76mm maf
7. Shorties with off road h pipe
8. Aftermarket Fuel rails
9. 3.73 gears.
10. .512 Custom ground lift cam

Would that big of a cam work with gt40 heads? i didnt know because i cant go over .510 with trick flow heads. let me know. thanks

why cant you go over .510 with trickflow heads? i thought all there heads had a valve spring to hold .600lift? id hope a aftermarket aluminum head could handle more then .510

no its just an explorer motor with a cam. and you don't need the aftermarket fuel rails the factory ones will be more than enough

TB needs to be 70mm, and no. I'd guess closer to 250rwhp on a setup like that

I don't see that setup breaking into the 300 HP range. Essentially just swapped the top end with a few other things.

To compare it with a similar swap.. People who install the Trickflow top end kit (H/C/I) usualyl end up with 285ish RWHP.

You guys are seriously underestimating what you can get with GT40s. I've seen dyno sheets all over the place. Common numbers are 280ish.

If that's the case, i wouldn't say we are underestimating anything then. Two out of three of us said numbers in that range.
