i was wondering if there is anybody who could help me
i have a 89 5.0 with a stock tranny but it has a 3.9 rear end and the speedo is reading that it is going faster than it really is. If there is anyone who could tell me what kind of gear to put in or how many teeth it needs it would be a great help. thanks

i dont think you can get a speedo gear for 3:90's. i think the closest you'll get is the red gear for 3:73's. if it's a 89 t-5

steeda.com says use the same gear whether you have 3.55, 3.73, or 4.10 so since 3.90 falls in there, i would just use that gear. i think its a 23 tooth
