my clutch was working fine and all the sudden it won't fully engage i start the car and can't get it in gear and it does not have a adjustable cable and still has the plastic quadrant and the pedal has about 2 to 2 1/2" of play in it what do you think it is.

I found it easier to install an aftermarket billet quadrant, than a stock unit. I've got the BBK piece.

could be cable, clutch, or clutch fork.

When mine did that it was the clutch and clutch fork.

But it could just be the cable.
