i got a new set of the white background gauges and the directions for them were generic for MOST of the ones that this company makes except for the ones i have... its saying just to slide the new ones over the needles for the speedo, tach, etc... the holes in the new set of gauges are too small to fit over the needles with the big knuckle off of the opposite side.... im sure there is a way, but how do remove the needles without damaging them?? thanks in advance

you can use a fork to get the needles off. pull straight up on the fork, do NOT pry with it.

also, make life easier on yourself and move the needles to their furthest point, one way or the other before removing them, this way you can put them back in the same spot.

ok... one more question, did you leave your factory gauges on and just put the new ones over it or what? because i started to lift the stock ones up and they're glued on and it'd take forever to get all of the glue off

i took the old ones off, helps with the lighting. most of mine peeled right off, the only one that was particularly hard to get was the speedo. that one was glued pretty good, but the rest basically popped off.
