Default Help me with these pushrods

I need alittle help with figuring out my pushrod length I need for my new setup. I am running new AFR 165 heads, a crane hydra flat tappet cam.

I am using the lunati pushrod lenght checker to try and figure this out, being my first time, I am hoping to get some advice from someone.

ok first I installed the length checker and pushrod with a pumped up tappet and measured a lenghth of 6.79 for the rod, taking that lenght as Lunati says and looking up my cams gross lift, on the intake valve its is .491, with 0 lash, I then use their chart for a 1.6 rocker arm (which I will be using) and it tells me to add .053 to my length to determine my rod lenght, so I come up with a grand total pushrod length of 6.843 I have gone over it three times now and I guess I am just a little gun shy being my first custom pushrod setup.
Does zero lash in my equation sound right? I setup the Lunati checker and extented the pushrod until it was snug in the lifter and rockerarm and measured that length.
Sorry for the long post, but I want to make sure everything is right before I go and order these push rods, ty for any help

I would, but I only have the 16 lifters I plan on using in the car, not crazy about messing around with one

you dont need a solid lifter, you shouldnt be cranking it down when your checking, thats why you have to add the extra amount to whatever you come up with. you just wanna make sure the rockers tip is between the tip side and the center on the valve stem, by the time it opens it should be on the lower side of center. you should be able to see this without rolling the motor over with a pushrod installed.
