351W built right ........... $6,000
TwinTurbo ................... $5,000
Drivetrain ..................... $4,000
Chasis ......................... $4,000

Total ......................... $19,000

round it up to $20,000 for misc. and your making
600rwhp and have a BAD *** suspension.

$20-25,000 will turn a 5.0 into a Viper eater
and give you a 9 sec street car.

Twin Turbo 351W = 700hp at the flywheel

$20,000 will get you there.
yea thats what i was thinking... 351 TT setup... if i go the sn-95 route... other since ill go with the 03-04 cobra.... i think 20k will get the engine and turbo... but want bout suspension drivetrain and body sculpting as well... and i was wondering if u can spin a boosted 351 7K-9k rpms and keep it streetable

sorry feelas a viper isnt a super car... nethier is a vette... on a good day a ford gt mite be... supercars really arent made in the usa...and a 9 second quart mile is only a part of a supercar... most supercars average 8-11second quartmiles but 120-200 is were they really have fun... and 200mph is lil a minimum in my opinion... and i think custom body ssculpting is goin to be required to get in on the road... 20k will get u a nice drag car as far and the full supercar package go i dont think a fast dragster has it covered

There's no need to spin one to 7k, I'm doing this right now with my car
and it has cost about what I just posted.
I didnt pull those numbers out of my ***................. $25k will cover it.

I'm about to start putting a twin turbo kit on there in a week or so.
its going to cost right at $5,000 inlcuding paying welding buddy $1,000 to
fab everything up.
My tuner says I should hit high 500's at the wheels no problem at 6,000 rpm

Chasis and drivetrain numbers are about what I've spent getting everything
solid. From 31 spline axles and TKO 600 to MM control arms and subframes.

ok, you are NEVER going to go 200mph, so whats the big deal with THAT!

spend $4,500 with Maximum Motor Sports and they can make a mustang handle with
any super car.

i dont doubt u will you have a badass setup.. if i had cash i woulda gone that route... but u honestly cant say ull get you car to run 200mph... wit ha tko 600 you 4th is what 1:1 for those rite?? rear ratio gears are 3.73??? and i really dunno you size of tire but lets say 315/35/19 cuz a lotta supercars run that size in bak.. and u run it to 7k so my calculator says ull hit 154 almost 155.. about 75mph short... granted with a nice round setup u could take a good about of hte supercars in a 1/4mile... but the dont really run 1/4 mile... they like to run 1mile... and they do it pretty damn fast... im looking for something that can actually beat a supercar in all aspects not just a few and not have to spend 500k on a car...

Again, when are you going to go 200mph??????

Why?????????

I've been 150mph down the freeway, its scary as hell.

Instead of TKO600 put in a Viper T-56 for $1k more
and different gearing, 700hp wont care if you have 2.73's back there.

No a mustang is never going to go 200mph, it will flip before that
If you're worried about racing people to 180+mph you're smoking crack

Good nite.

suspesion is ez... engine is ez... 351 TT lotta hp even mroe tq.... i guess u could drop a t-56 viper spec run 7500 rpms and use like 3.27 or 3.55 so u have the potentional... but can a setup like that go 200mph??

Actually I remember a magazine back in the mid 90's built a 200mph Fox. The reality is that for a Mustang to be able to sustain anything over 150-160 mph with any type of stability will require suspension and a some pretty serious body mods. At those speeds a front air dam and a wing are not going to cut it. Also drag becomes exponential as speed increases. There are ton of factors at work here, a 200 mph Stang is not impossible but it is impractical.
