Where did it go? Help!

Where did it go? Help!
I noticed that my brakes got a lot softer about a day ago, so thinking it was in my head i just kept on driving it. Well, today i was under the hood and decided to check the brake fluid just in case and come to find out it was empty in the main reservoir for the front brakes. So when they got softer, i guess it had just run dry. This seems weird because i haven't noticed any brake fluid leaking, and i just replaced calipers and hoses a couple months ago. I'm gonna get the wheels off and inspect it more closely tomorrow, but there are no obvious signs of a major leak. If you have a leak, does it just happen when you apply the brakes? I would assume it would, but i have no idea. I guess that would mean i've been spraying brake fluid all over the road? Please help.

It's just weird because you'd think i would've noticed it. I'm just really hoping its something easy like a loose brake line. If i've got problems with a hard line i'm screwed.

Depends on how much of thr line drained out during your change over. That would be alot and I bet you have a leak somewhere. www.50resto sells the hard lines prebent I think....

Thanks for the help. Like i said earlier, i'm really hoping i will be able to fix this fairly quickly. I'm gonna re-bleed the brakes tomorrow and tighten all the hoses. Hopefully i'll find the problem in the process.

if you only did the rubber hoses you probably have a metal hose busted somewhere. fill it up and have someone step on the pedel while you look under the car for the leak. you can usually hear it spray out. there is no way the fluid can just vanish like a fart in the wind. and also you cant have that much air in your front lines to lower it that much
