the SR20 motor is a very capable competitor. Do you know if its a red top?

He may have also swapped to a larger turbo on there... If hes got sticky tires.... he might be able to take you!

my buddy had one with a sr20 and like 10-12lbs and it spun the dyno at 260 rwhp. it had a few things done to it like injectors, exhaust pcm stuff ect....stock turbo though

its a red top, Actually I think he upgraded the valvetrain and cams. But other than that its stock. Correct me if im wrong but arent they like 205-225hpfrom the factory? I think it will be a close race but im sure he'll be ahead at the finish line. his car is much lighter than mine.

Yup,regardless of the valvecover color/yearenginethey put out about the same HP as the 5.0. Should be pretty close depending on his mods.

Ive got another buddy with a 240sx sr swap but that one will have about 700+ rwhp. I wont hang with him but I know someone whowill.

My brother has a 97 240 with the SR swap. 400 HP 350 ish ft lbs to the tires The car RIPS and he has sadly beaten on terminators and ls1 trans ams and all that wonderful local stuff. The problem with the car is that its SO LIGHT that it is a rocket ship compared to my notch. But right now my notch will beat him because it still runs unlike his which took a chunk out of the piston

EDIT: it was 399.5 hp and 325 something tq
