Default Weld Wheels

For anyone who has went from a 17 in wheel to a 15 inch weld wheel, how much difference did it make on the eighth mile.

The only difference I think you would see would be traction if you stayed with the same heigth tire. The 15" tire has more sidewall to wrinkle for a larger foot print. What size are you going from and to?

Really I was just wandering if the weight would make any difference, I remember going from a 16 to a 17 and losing two tenths. But even if I put a slick on the 15 there going to be even more tire to turn over than what I have now.

92 Grey, I noticed your setup and am wondering if you had any problems at first, cause I have a DSS 306 with 185's comp .555 .565 and cobra intake and cant seem to run better that a 8.8 on the eighth. This combo should run better right.
