Default RE: Motor smoking

If you have a major water leak problem due to a blown head gaskit, you may see a medium brown sludge on the dip stick. You may also see antifreeze blowing out of your exhaust pipe. You can do a compression test. Look for two adjacent cylinders with low compression.

Did you overheat your engine anytime in the near past? This cuse head warpage which leads to a blown head gasket. Until you can get a definate read onthese issues it would be best not to run this bad boy. Antifreeze is an engine killer for sure.

Hope this helps.

does it smoke all the time, or just when you start it up? sometimes when you have bad valve seats it smokes bad on start up, but goes away when the oil starts to circulate. that would partialy explain why it only happensfrom oneheader.
