Default Motor smoking

What color is the smoke gonna be if i have a blown head gasket. I dont notice a loss in power but there is some whitesmoke coming from right near the headers and it smells like gasoline. It is possible thati could have screwed up the header'sgasket when doing the install. Just need a quick answer, thanks

Ya a blown head gasket would cause the white smoke!
I dont think there is anything you could have done to the head gasket on a header install!
Dont see anything coming out the back of the exhaust though?

Yes white smoke is most likely the cause of a blown head gasket, dont run the car, like that it can cause more damage.

Check your oil. Might as well, you'll have to change it anyway

**** dude, i ran the car yesterday. what am i gonna see coming from the exhaust? whats the oil gonna look like, i just changed it not too long ago. What i was saying earlier is that i was having a hard time installing the header and it could possibly be the HEADER gasket. Would it do the same thing on a header gasket? I thought i would see a loss in power if i blew a head gasket...

So it's only coming from one header? How bad is it, we talking smoke screen or just a little bit? Try retorquing the header (with proper sequence), and see if it comes out your exhaust

Yep, only the drivers side. The reason that i thought it could be the head gasket is b/c it looked like it was coming from the bottom of the header... It can sometimes be, not quite a smoke screen but it is clearly coming out, mostly itsjusta little bit. What is the proper torqueing pattern for the headers. I just went from the inside out.Do you think that i should replace the gasket or just loosen and tighten one by one?

Check your oil to see if its milky, and look and smell your exhaust, it would be white smoke and smell sweet. You'd also notice a loss of coolant. So this just happened after a header install ?
