Default Car revs, then dies

My car started to rev, the die after it warms up after I put ported heads/cam into it. Only happens when it's at normal operating temp. Thought maybe it was because it was running lean. Could it be a vauum leak?

yes, could also be the ECU needs to be reset. disconnect the negative battery cable for at least 10 minutes and then reconnect it and see what this does. are you speed density or mass air?? if speed density, the cam maybe too much for it and you'll need to convert to mass air worst case.

It is mass air. OK, I had already disconnected the battery for 3 minutes, I'll try 10. Also, could it be that my cam lift, .51", is too high and I need to up my idle a little bit?

well if it was the cam i think it would do it at all temps not just normal temp. but if u do adjust the idle i think u need to ground the connector when u do it

if it is the idle (wich i doubt) just turn up the set screw on the throttle body... might as well do that right now just to see what it does... not much tho, that will give you an idea.. maybe? but you dont gotta ground no connector or nothin... never heard of that... heard of taking out the jumper for timing , thas it tho

Was in a rush all day long, only had time to turn the throttle screw. Didn't do anything. I think I turned it 2 full turns. Idle is at 800. I will pull the battery now, and put it back on tomorrow. Could it be that I dont have enough pressure going to my 24# injectors? Just an idea.
