Default Never ending gear question?

Just looking for some opinions from some of you out there. I have a 89 notch 5 speed that is mostly stock right now with 2.73 rear right now. This is not a daily driver, but a hobby/project car for me. I'm looking to change the gears and have the question that everyone seems to ask 3.73 or 4.10. I will be rebuilding the engine soon and will be adding the H/C/Ialong with possibly a stroked engine if I go with a new block. A supercharger is not in the works for now due to $ but the engine will be done this summer. I'm not worried about gas mileage, if I was I wouldn't have this dilema. Wondering what you all think, espescially from you all who have had both. The current goal for HP with the new engine will be around 350+ if possible.

Thanks for the help

Default RE: Never ending gear question?

350 hp? you could run a 26/ 8.5 slick at the track, and 373 gears, would be just right for the 1/4
i say 373
