best band for the buck would probably be just a K&N filter, from what ive heard they really dont do anything besides add a little shine.

Definentally don't waste your time on a full out CAI. Ebay a K&N panel filter that goes in the stock air box (I bought one off of Ebay for 19.99), and try to find one of the Anderson power pipes or a C&L tru-flow pipe(that goes between the MAF and the TB). That set up would probably yield the same if not more power than a CAI for the same or less money and will not mess with your MAF readings (can cause rich or lean conditions and make your idle horrible, especially with an after market MAF). I would also reccomend not getting the C&L MAF, for every one person that likes their C&L MAF there are two people that will tell you that they had it and they were junk.

Only reason that youshould changeyours (since you have a 70mm) is if youare pegging out the stock one, but I highly doubt you are.

thanks for the opinions. the main reason i was thinking about going with a cai or maf is there not difficult to install. i want to start gaing some power and i dont know much about engine work so i figured i could go that rout. that power pipe sounds good i could probly do that is there anything eles thats not that difficult that would give me some decent power?

ive heard of people running a powerpipe on both n/a and s/c. its just a bigger tube allowing more air into your motor. so it can only help.
