They actually make high mileage mobil oil for that. I work at a mobile 1 quick lube. We do tons of cars..close to 80 a day and i live in a small town. I also ran mobil 1 10w30 syn in my stang. Im not sure i might switch to royal purple just to try it. But ya mobile is really good oil. we sell the **** out of mobile products.

in my opinion, its ok to start a motor off running synthetic oil, but if your car has over 50k on it(hard miles)
i wouldnt put it in there.
i have always just used lucas, new and old motors.
i used synthetic oil on a motor with high mileage and it started smoking. it took 2 oil changes to stop smoking.
but as long as it doesnt have alot of wear , i guess you could use it.
but theres always lucas, i think its better and cheaper!!!

i think for 2 stroke engines Amsoil is the best out there.. all i have ever run in my sleds is amsoil and there dominator full synthetic race oil is awsome... not to mention smells great when it burns..

But in my cars i have always ran mobil 1.. great stuff i think.
