Default Wheel/Tire Question

I am sure this has been asked about a million times. But oh well. '93 Notch rear wheel and tires. Max tire size and with what size wheel and backspacing? (btw 5lug and disk conversion)

Thank you in advance.

Exactly one of the questions I am asking...the holistic approach.

17x9, 6.0 backspace, 275/40/17. Perfect fit, quad shock removed.

Cool, thankyou. What I want really is to not have to alter the wheel wells at all. If I am going to do that I will mini tub like I have done in the past. I am crazy like that, if I have to start bending and hammering, I'm mini tubbing....lol

You can runa 10" wheel w/ 6.5 backpacing and a 1/2 spacer. You'll also have to do a lil inner and outer fender work and can maybe get some 315's on it.

Curious, the issue I know I will have running a 10", is under load, I will probably have rubbing issues w/o some serious well work. At least that's what I see when I measure it all out. It is a defining moment for me, I was trying to stick to un-modified wheel wells (i.e. no tubs) but it may be the way I go just for versatility, and getting the body a little closer to the ground. Hell time to step back and re-evaluate. As always Pro, you are a gentleman and a scholar.

LOL thanks. I would stick w/ the original combo I listed. You may be able to get some 295's on there w/o any issues. It's def gonna be one of those trial and error things. The 275's looked good on my car and I was happy w/ them. Plus I didn't have to worry about anything rubbing or having to beat my fenderwells either.
