Default piston stop

i need one to measure TDC so i can install my new cam properly... were is a good place to get one and do they have to be ne ceratin lenght... i know there are too kinds... heads off and heads on which is better... how are both used??

also does autozone rent-out dial indicators???

Just put the timing mark on the balencer to 0*. make sure it is on the compression stroke. You dont need to find TDC to install a cam, just line up the marks on the timing gears.

heads arent on but i can put them on... im doin it cuz jay see it needs to be done... he built the cam so that it would be installed a certain way so it needs to be u kno.. im not goin to pay 350 or w.e. it is for the cam and them jus throw it in and not worry about it being rite

considering hte balancer is off im not sure how u expect me to do that.... as for finding TDC yea i do need to so i can make sure my cam is at the correct degree so i have the proper amount of lift at TDC so the custom can is setup like it should be
