hood and trunk lid ?'s
how do these close anyone know? do you have to cut a hole for the latch or do they pin close?

my trunk lid has a wing and i wanna get rid of it. should i buy this or just repair the holes in the OE one? also where is a cheap place to get a fiberglass or carbon fiber hood (2" or 3" cowl) the one on summit is like almost 500 dollars. i think i've seen them before for about 250ish

Re...Cheap Fiberglass hood...you get what you pay for...you can spend less, but it cost you more to paint it or more time for the Prep...I spent like 500 on a Harwood Fiberglass hood and spent about 5 hours shaping it to fit...I hear Cervinis hoods are supposed to be good.

well...paint....im not concerned about, my paint job it ridiculus anyways so i wanna keep the gelcoat look it comes with until the whole car gets painted.

Harwood is supposed to be one of the best Fiberglass Companies...The hood has a black gel coat and it looked real nice...It was easy to paint as well...BUT
They put extra material on the hood for shipping reasons...it only weighs like 20 lbs so it gives it more strength. I had to sand the hood down on the underside up at the cowl and over the front grille and headlights.....lots of sanding/grinding and fitting...not sure if that is normal or not...but it sucked.

My cervinis hood fit perfect... I dont know about the trunk. If i was going to be daily driving it I really wouldnt want a fiberglass trunk....but thats me. And i dont think it would be that much to fix the holes especially since your not going to paint it. I would def go that route, plus its the cheapest.
