Brake rotors and the "aftermarket"
This is how it all began: I go to Autozone for little bs stuff and I decide to see what they cando forslotted and/or drilled 11 inch rotors for a five lug, like a 94 an up.......
Obviously they can't get anything worth a sh!itso I ask how much they want for just generic replacements.......
They have them...... $20 or something......but the point is that they have no warranty. I look over on the shelf and the boxes are stacked vertically - with BIG bold print that says "DONT SHELF UPRIGHT" on the edge of the box....
So I give the kid a hard time about " you stack the bitches on their sides.....and then tell me to shove it if I get one warped or out of round.???? "
He gets the manager over there and goes "well - you can filea complaint with corporate."[:@]
*** Best part.
I used to work for the sonsabitches whenI was going to school - and I know where they keep the policy booklet and training binder that explains that this is WRONG. The owner of that store is just too cheap to buy the proper shelving. I call him out on it. He grabs the stuff I went in there for from me and tells me to get the f*ck out of his store! We exchange gestures until I see the cashier dial the police.
And then I went to Murrays. And ordered some FRPP ones (M-1125-A).They look nicer than they are I am sure, but
**********
Anyone have these? Like 'em? Worth the $? Any alternatives for the price? Any braking improvement? Any lifetime improvement?
Sorry for the book. [:'(]
