my bud has a 95 formula firebird. He has full exhaust and an msd 6al. When drivin the car stutters slightly and jerks ever so slightly when it does it. What the hell could this be? His car has 90k on it and its a 6 speed.

sounds like clutch might be slipping

if its the orginal 90k mile clutch it would not surprise me if its bad.

could be the clutch..... but my guess would be the opti spark is on it's way out... have fun replacing it if it is.

no he has a pretty damn good clutch just put in like 5k ago. We were thinkin the opti spark or whatever the f*ck it is. And yea thats a 6 hour ordeal if it is cause ALOT has to come off. Any more ideas? Is there a way to test the optispark to see if its bad or not before he spends cash?

have no idea. pm jd1969 i think it is, he's a camaro guy, he should know. if not then look on a f-body forum for a answer.
