I have a 94 GT 5.0 that is having starting problems... When I go to start the car it starts fine, then I shut it off and try to restartit and itturns over like its about to start but doesnt.After lettingit sit for a couple of minutes it starts up. I have replaces the fuel pump and pressure tested the fuel regulator and they test fine. Has anybody had this problem or know what could be wrong?

I had a simular problem years ago. It ended up being the hall-effect sensor/stator in the distributor. Check for spark next time it happens.

had the same problem awhile back. it was the sensor in the distibutor. had to replace the whole thing.

I finally fix the problem and it was the stator in the distributor. Replaced the distributor and problem fix.

coulda saved yourself a good bit of money by just replacing the stator. its easy to install, and only costs about $8
