Default misfire fixed, question about ideal

k i fixed my mis fire on my 88 lx 5.0. i had zip zip ties on my wires, that help them all together, took that off, spreaded the wires out and boy what a difference. my Q now is the engine ideal. the ideal likes to jump up and down maybe 650-850 rpm, and i noticed the fuel pressure does the same at the same timeit does a little bog up and down. is this ok for a 19 year old car or should something be changed. also on my cap i got these aluminum peices that the plug goes on, should i change that, it seems like it worn.

Default RE: misfire fixed, question about ideal

you should install new plug wires as it is possible that the old ones are now excessively worn from the arching... you will more than likely have the misfire return if you dont change the wires
