Make sure your coolant is full, if it isn't it might not heat the incoming air very much.

I would also make sure your heater core lines are not pinched or crimped. If they are not flowing coolant good you will lack heat.

when the last time you flushed the cooling system out good?? heater cores are notorious for getting partially plugged up with gunk and then they don't flow enough hot water through them to put out any heat. try taking both heater hoses loose and back flushing the core with garden hose to wash out the gunk and then see if the heat improves.

I am kinda in the same situation, but my heater core has been bypassed from the people I bought it from. I think it had something to do with a hole in the heater core, and I think someone said that that would cause alot of smoke to come through it or something like that. Anyways, I don't have heat, its cold here (Washington state (40-28 for now)) and I am fine. I just wear 2 t-shirts a long sleeve shirt, a sweater and I just bought a beanie, so I wear that too. I'm not cold. Besides I am saving the money so I can buy performance parts first, and I heard getting to the heater isn't too fun...ie. going through the dash.

Besided I have to fix my gas tank first, I think around 3 gallons of gas evaporate every time I fill up...yeah have to get this fixed REAL FAST.
