I have a 1989 Lincoln Town car with a block identical to the ones in the 1986 mustang, without the notched pistons. They are flat topped and I have installed a stock 1992 Mustang HO cam, E7TE heads, 19lb injectors, HO Upper Intake, 60mm TB and bored out my EGR spacer to 63mm, and I have a EEC from a 1991 Mark VII with the correct HO firing order. I want to run an E cam, but I don't know if my motor can take the .498 lift. Thanks for any insight!

no... and i am even surprised that the E7 head fit eithout piston to valve contact problems.

haha did you see that viva la bam where him and dunn drag raced dunn had the lincoln limo with a 460 in it work and would have beat the lambo if he never hit the nitrous

Yeah, its got 225hp right now, up from 150 lol. But it still isn't fast enough. I am going to port the E7's and put on some 1.7 roller rockers if the E-Cam won't fit in there. I know guys with my setup that have 1.7 RR, HO cam, and ported E7 heads, but they barely break 15's in the 1/4, because of the sheer gurth of the town car haah.
