Another Clutch Question
The clutch that I have was on my car when i bought it, i have no idea what it is or how long its been on there. About 2,000 miles or so ago I adjusted it and it seems to be really strong there is no slipping what so ever. It is also extemely stiff, so stiff that your leg will start to shake if you hold it on long lights. THE issue is that it makes a slight squeaky sound that you can hear if you know what to listen for and you keep your radio off. It goes away when the clutch is in so im assuming it could be the throw out bearing. But then I heard that some heavier aftermarket clutches just do this? Or that the adjustment could be slightly off.... i adjusted it like it says in the manual by pulling it up and then shoving it in to the floor and realeasing. Anyway I have been driving it this way for the past 2K or so with no real issues and was wondering your opinions... Is it bad? Do i need a new clutch?
