i have a 92 gt, its an aod right now and i dont like it im having it converted to a five speed and getting a tune done, its stock mid and catback im goin to change out to offroad x pipebefore it goes in for the tranny swap, i want to know if i can put on an mid pipe for a manual with it still being a aod or if i can put on a mid for an aod and still be able to have the manual tranny put in. thanks, ben

i dont think mid pipes are aod or 5 speed specific. they are all the same. unless your talking long tube headers, they there is a difference. if your talking LT, an aod set of headers/mid pipe will work on both the aod and t5 but a t5 set of LT/mid pipe wont work on the aod. the aod is much wider

i got short tube headers so either or should work fine?

ya with shorties there all the same. ive never seen shorty headers or a midpipe meant for shorty headers, that says for aod or for t5. they all fit both
