Default drag radials

im looking at ordering some mt drag radials for my 90 hatch. the rims are the stock really ugly rims (not ponys). does anyone know the biggest size tire that can be put on the stock rim. i was looking at the 235/60r15's but don't know if i can go bigger.

On a 15x7 wheel, the widest tire that you want to run is a 255.

He can go wider than that, the wider the better IMO. As long as there are not fitment issues (which there won't be).

What kind of gears do you have in the car. If you have 3.73's or above you might want to get the 255/60's. They are a 27 inch tire and should hook a little better with the gear.If you have 3.55s or less gear you should hook pretty good with the 235's unless your making some pretty decent hp.

I'm looking at getting me some drag radial for my ponies. I currently have 3.73 gears, H/C/I swap and the damn tires I have does nothing but spin. It sucks! Any suggestions on drag radial for pony rims? What is the widest tire I can put in the back with ponies?

Thanks!
