Looking for someone to help me out. I have a 83 gt that i bought without being able to drive cause a bad c4. I got the car towed and rebuilt the trans in the car and when i drove it home it wanted to go dead on me. I figured it would run bad until i got it home but everytime i put the car in drive and hit the gas it doesnt want to go and when i stop it wants to shut off. The car im sure has a aftermarket cam in it. The p/s and p/b are disconected. The car is running on a points style distributor with the electronic conversion. Im no mechanic and new to working on car but looking to learn and not pay money on something simple to fix. The car has a 2.5 off road h-pipe and summit mufflers. it has a edelbrock 600 carb and air gap intake on it also. Any help would be helpful. The car seems like it didnt want to pick up and go from like doing 25-30 and it should cause it does have 410 gears out back also. Like i said someone please help me.
