as far as a MAF sensor, i dont think the car will start if it goes bad. you can also tell if its bad if the car willrun by taking the hose off between tb and MAF. it will run alot different if it is working.i dont know what a baf is off the top of my head so no clue on that.

As far as a MAF the car will start if its bad, mine did anyway but would stall as soon as it went into gear. A new one fixed everything.
But he said MAP. I never diagnosed one of those before.
As for the BAF im lost.

Should start by asking the system if it's seeing something wrong with their signals...... http://www.troublecodes.net/Ford/ .......Did you mean MAF and BAP?...... or MAP/BP?
