Default gt40p's vs stock

i got got an 88gt..what else would i have to change to put these on...and is it even worth it

Send the heads to the machine shop and have them checked out, they're worth a decent amount of horsepower if you can get them for cheap. What kind of headers do you have?

If you run the GT40P heads you're going to need the equal length shorties IIRC.

The intake is the only really worthwhile thing to take off I believe. I think that there were some complications though with some of the years of the exploder intake and trying to adapt it on to our 5.0 HOs.

GT40P's, the normal GT40's will lower your compression if you don't get them milled or something. Other than that I believe that they're the same. But don't quote me on that, I'm just going off of what I have heard.
