RE: 5.0 turbo
425-450rwhp on the stock motor with a turbo is easy and safe. its all in the tune. boost pressure is irrelivant, its the hp limit of the block you have to watch out for.
are you buying a kit or building your own?

RE: 5.0 turbo
its not as much boost amount as it is hp you wanna watch. ive been looking into this alot too, and just as a referance, a guy took a stock 5.0(oil pan to the tb) ran 9psi boost and hit 470whp. uh lets see, youll need everything that comes w. a turbo kit(turbo, piping, bypass valve, etc) a bigger fuel pump, big *** injectors, and ignition would be a very good idea too... but the most important thing a very good tune

I can run 7-9 psi safely. I have safc to tune with. I know a safc is kinda a import thing so my plans are to get a megasquirt. I would suggest a dyno when it is finished. The stock 5.0 block will only hold around 500hp. I have stock h/c/i on mine still. Its all in the tune though.

im at 425 on 8 psi. I have a c&l Maf and 42# injectors but im not going to install them yet cause im gettin ready to drop in my 331 stroker then i will put them in. The injectors i have are okfor this setup but i wouldnt go over 9psi with them. I also have a innovative wide band Iam using to tune with.
