I put an MSD coil on my car . It worked as advertised but it gives off a high frequency whine that is annoying and constant, like my ex-wife. Has anyone out there had the same experience (coil wise) and did you find a way tofix it? I just want to make sure I didn't overlook something. Thanks in advance.

Me and my brothers MSD coil both made noise.I think it a normal thing with MSD coils.

Lots of people with MSD coils complain. Mine actually doesn't whine, had it not been installed when I bought the car I would have gone with Mallory all the same, but mine doesn't.

My MSD coil makes a buzzing noise. Its not noticeable unless you try and listen for it. Its definatley not a whine though.

Mine makes no noise what so ever. In fact, I've never heard someone say that they have a wine from the coil.

Mine does the same thing, I would descibe it sounding something like a cricket does, that chirping they do. I am used to it or exhaust is almost too noisy to notice it. I did notice the chirping right after I had put it on though.
