I want to clean up my fan shroud & paint it some sort of black. Has anyone done this before & do you have any pics?

No one has cleaned up there fan shrouds & painted them? Like sanding the CAUTION off them for a clean look.

lol. well if you wanna do that, then yes. use a sanding unit to sand off caution and whatever else. use very light grit sand paper to rough up the surface for the paint to stick to or even better. get plastic spray paint which sticks to plastic with no sanding needed or primer because it bonds with plastic. use the plastic spray paint and if there isnt a color you like use plastic primer so you can use any other paint you find and it will stick to that.
