Default Help with Edelbrock Thunder 650 AVS

I am running lean when I slam on the pedal after 3500 rpm. My engine revs out at 6k Anyone know what I adjust to get more fuel in this thing at higher rpm?

Default RE: Help with Edelbrock Thunder 650 AVS

It may be sensitive to the 2ndary air valve on it, so you can start by adjusting that. It will change whether or not it even opens all the way(if it's not right now) which could have an effect on signal strength. Otherwise increase 2ndary jet size and see if that helps. I wasn't able to get my 650 AVS to tune for crap, though part of that may have been the engine combo. I know somepoeple that use them and they all say the same, that's it's very difficult to tune the AVS carbs from Edelbrock. I replaced mine with a 570 Holley Street Avenger.
