TO my knowledge it is 5 gallons. I always just filled it until it was full, the burped the system and refilled, then repeated until it stopped going down when the system pressurized.

the whole system requires about 3 gallons, taking the WP off you will need at least 2 gallons, but if you buy straight antifreeze, you gotta use a good bit of water anyway.... so buy 2 and go 1 gallon A/F and 1 gallon water at a time
