RE: Valve train noise
i have the same problem, my stethescope wasnt any help, i put it ontop the rocker stud, the valve cover, header tube, all kinds of places, some have different tones and levels, but mine only comes in under a load, the loud one that i hear inside the car anyway, and checking for that with the stock valve cover's top cut still gets alot of oil everywhere lol
by this weekend, i will have done some more tinkering and see if i can find out why i get the noise under a load. i get the sewing machine noise, both sides of the motor, the rear part of the heads seem to make more noise...but the idle noise i get is normal, but alot louder than stock.
