Default bump up my fuel

i was wondering if i should bump up my fuel pressure some, i have been dealing with cherry red headers and the car is in time at 16*btdc and the fuel pressure with the vac line on is around 38lb and since i put new h/c/i and throttle body and have not done anything to the fuel, i figured i added alot more air and no more fuel what do you guys think.

what kind of mods are we talkin about here. upping your fuel pressure isn't gonna do anything if you actually need more fuel itself.

maybe a bigger pump and injectors are what is needed here, cherry red headers is lean as hell.

id not touch the fuel pressure and start looking for a vacum leak first at.

If you have different MAF check to see if its for 19 lb injectors. show some pics

yah. get yourself some 24# injectors, with MAF, and a 155lph pump.
and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a gauge.

once again I will tell you to disconnect the vac line and set your fuel prssure to 40psi.

then you should remove your distributpr and re-stab it because you obviously did something wrong and your running your timing too far retarded

I know this is probably not your problem at all, but I had glowing headers and it was b/c my cat converterswere clogged up.

I'm running the TF HCI package with 24lb injectors, 155 in tank, 70mm TB, and 42 psi pressure. I have the vacum hooked-up, and the pressure willl pull to 46 - 48 psi under WOT. I believe this is too high, and will be adjusting downward, and messing with my timing to see where is ideal.

Let me know where you end-up.
