7.5 to 8.8
ok. i have an 86 gt hatch, i want to change up to an 8.8. i have heard that its no big deal, but i also heard that it is a big deal... so i was wndering if i could get an opinion about how big a deal it is. maybe a few opinions really. a buddy of mine found one in a junker cougar with disc brakes. thats the one id like, i think i need the proportioning valve, im not sure if ill need anything else from it, or i can get one out of a stang with the drum brakes, and its in his shed. so any input would be welcome guys. thanx

RE: 7.5 to 8.8
It is relatively simple. The 8.8 goes in the same place with the same hardware, no mods are required. The hardest part is bleeding the brakes if you don't have help. If you haven't done a project like that before just go slow, pay attention to the details and make notes if you need to.
