Not sure, this retardedly run state keeps changing it, back when it used to be 72 and earlier it was supposed to bump up every year. Then they stopped that for a few years and it stayed at like 73 for a while, then they started again, and stopped, and it seems like it only bumps every few years. Right now it's like 76 and earlier I think? Something like that. It's gonna get worse too, Cali is thinkin of going to "If there is ANY visible vapor, other than water vapor) coming from the exhaust, auotmatic failure regardless of emissions." It's lame too, cuz you can even add something to your car in this state that DECREASES harmful emissions, but with a CARB EO # it's an automatic visual fail! It's stupid, that's why I drive a 67

I once passed a test pulling vacuum lines and getting as much air into the motor as i could, ran like crap, but i passed, hehe

One reason i will never live in California. Emissions here in Pa are visual only.

Find somebody with a stock H-pipe and see if you can swap them for the test atleast. Throw in new O2 sensors for the test. As for the fuel leak, im not sure what to fix it with without replacing anything.

Anything stock you take off if you live in Cali, keep it in case you need it later. The smog system here is a racket anyway. Here in Cali the smog stations have to buy their equipment(the dyno at least)from the state in order to be certified, they can't buy it from the manufacturer. And of course it's more expensive, then they charge you for the test etc. It's a government racket mostly, that has little to do with clean emissions. Case in point being you can add something that gives you 99% less emissions, but without it coming with a sticker from the state(CARB EO etc) it's gonna fail just because it's "Not legal for sale or use in California on pollution controlled motor vehicles."
