Where they 4 bolt or 2 bolt mains? and how much is a rebuild?

I believe all Ford302 blocks are two bolt except for the Boss 302. Your '74 is most probably a 2 bolt.

dude a core should be super cheap if its not a running motor. like 50 or 100 bucks. find a local shop with speed freaks who deal in fords, sure to come along something cheap

The motor is complete, everything! carb, oil pan, heads, valve covers, etc, etc. But its a low 8.0:1 engine I think

Well I just got an e-mail back and he said its a 302 WINDSOR!!!! bwahahaha, someone needs something, or am I the one who needs something?

all 302's are windsors,the 302/351small block is a windsor, so the 302 and 351 use the SMALL BLOCK WINDSOR platform and the 351C is a BB-Jon
